Silver Airways’ new flights between Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale begin Tuesday. The airline will have three flights a day to Fort Lauderdale, leaving Jacksonville International Airport at 6:35 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 4:35 p.m.
Southwest Airlines announced in June that it was ending flights between Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale. But in addition to Silver Airways, Jet Blue will be flights between those cities in October.
Silver, based in Fort Lauderdale, is also increasing its Jacksonville-Tampa flights to three a day.
