JAA Board of Directors Elects New Officers

Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) today elected Ray Alfred as JAA Board of Directors chairman for the 2015-2016 fiscal year, which begins Oct. 1.

Alfred, President/CEO of Emergency Responders’ Industries, Inc., is a former Fire Chief for the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department and Fire Chief for Washington, DC. 

The other newly elected officers include Patrick Kilbane as vice chairman, Teresa Davlantes as secretary and Giselle Carson as treasurer.

The board is comprised of seven members. Three members are appointed by Jacksonville's mayor while the other four are appointed by the governor of Florida. Each board member can serve a maximum of two consecutive 4-year terms.
