Voluntary Noise Abatement Procedures

On approach:
Clean, stable, low power, low drag = QUIETER!
On final:
1-Stay at or above the PAPIs (Precision Approach Path Indicator)
2-Don’t advance prop control until you’ve made final power reduction.

VFR Noise Abatement Arrival Procedures

Runway 5 - Straight-In 5 Arrival
Proceed inbound at or above 1,000 feet for a straight-in to Runway 5.
Descend when necessary for landing.
Runway 23 - Kernan Arrival
Follow Kernan Blvd. northbound at or above 1,000 feet. Modify the base leg
so that it is initiated prior to Monument Landings Community and descend
for landing.
Runway 23 - Monument Arrival
For a right downwind entry to Runway 23, proceed inbound at or above
1,000 feet from the west/southwest (over Monument Road). Begin descent
after passing over the Monument Oaks Community.
Runway 14 - Straight-In 14 Arrival
Proceed inbound at or above 1,000 feet for a straight-in to Runway 14. Descend for landing.
Runway 32 - Kernan/Atlantic Arrival
Follow Kernan Blvd. northbound at or above 1,000 feet. Turn onto final approach
at the intersection of Kernan & Atlantic Blvd. and descend for landing

VFR Noise Abatement Departure Procedures

Runway 5 - Monument North Departure
If practical, turn left to intercept Monument Road northbound. At or above 1,000 feet, turn on course.
Runway 23 - St. Johns Departure
If practical, turn left to intercept St. Johns Bluff Road southbound. At or above 1,000 feet, turn on course.
Runway 23 - Atlantic Departure
If practical, turn right to intercept Atlantic Blvd. at Southside Blvd. At or above 1,000 feet, turn on course.
Runway 14 - Kernan Departure
Fly southeast to intercept the intersection of Kernan Blvd. & Atlantic Blvd. Turn south to follow Kernan. At or above 1,000 feet, turn on course.
Runway 32 - Monument South Departure
If practical, turn left to intercept Monument Road past 9A. At or above 1,000 feet, turn on course.

Runway 32 - Dames Point Departure
Fly northwest towards Dames Point Bridge. At or above 1,000 feet, turn on course.
