NON-AERONAUTICAL LEASE OPPORTUNITY FOR GENERAL DOOLITTLE DRIVE PARCEL AT JAXEX AIRPORT
for the
JACKSONVILLE AVIATION AUTHORITY
In response to recent directives regardingCOVID-19 – also known as Coronavirus – and its unforeseen impact upon the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) and its traveling public, JAA has instituted an electronic solicitation process which, as described herein, will be used for this solicitation.
Statements of Interest will be received by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA or the Authority) until the Official Solicitation Due Date and Time of December 1, 2020, at 2:00 PM(local time) for Non-Aeronautical Lease Opportunity for General Doolittle Drive Parcel at JaxEx Airport. The leasing opportunity consists of an aeronautical real estate parcel totaling approximately110 gross acres.
This RFI is for discovery and information gathering of potential business clients and/or current airport tenants having interest in leasing a certain portion of real estate at Jacksonville Executive at Craig Airport (“JaxEx Airport” or “Airport”) as further identified in Appendix A (“Property”). This RFI is a planning document and shall not be considered or construed as a solicitation nor an obligation on the part of the Authority to enter into a lease agreement. The Authority will utilize the results of this RFI in identifying lease candidates and, if applicable, to make a selection.
Subject to the response received from this RFI, JAA may elect to: 1) negotiate directly if only one response is received or only one Respondent is deemed qualified; 2) issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) from all qualified and interested parties, which may or may not be exclusive to those responding hereto; 3) forego issuing an RFP and make an award hereunder by utilizing the evaluation criteria and points outlined on page 7 below; or 4) not proceed with the project at this time.
JAA will receive Statements of Interest electronically via DemandStar.com until2:00 PM (local time) on December 1, 2020.

• Statements of Interest shall be submitted on the forms provided and may be manually, electronically or digitally signed by the individual authorized to legally bind the company.
• Subject to JAA's discretion to waive minor irregularities, Statements of Interest received after the opening date and time will be rejected.
