AERONAUTICAL LEASE OPPORTUNITYFOR PARCEL 5 AT JAXEX AIRPORT

JACKSONVILLE AVIATIONAUTHORITY
In response to recent directives regardingCOVID-19 – also known as Coronavirus – and its unforeseen impact upon theJacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) and its traveling public, JAA hasinstituted an electronic solicitation process which, as described herein, willbe used for this solicitation.
Statements of Interest will bereceived by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA or the Authority) untilthe Official Solicitation Due Date and Time of September 15, 2020, at 2:00 PM(local time) for Aeronautical Lease Opportunity for Parcel 5 at JaxExAirport. The leasing opportunityconsists of an aeronautical real estate parcel totaling approximately 3.45acres.
This RFI is for discovery andinformation gathering of potential business clients and/or current airporttenants having interest in leasing a certain portion of real estate at JacksonvilleExecutive at Craig Airport (JaxEx) as further identified in Attachment A(“Property”). This RFI is a planningdocument and shall not be considered or construed as a solicitation nor anobligation on the part of the Authority to enter into a lease agreement. The Authority will utilize the results ofthis RFI in identifying lease candidates and, if applicable, to make aselection.
Subject to the response received fromthis RFI, JAA may elect to: 1) negotiate directly if only one response isreceived or only one Respondent is deemed qualified; 2) issue a Request forProposals (RFP) from all qualified and interested parties, which may or may notbe exclusive to those responding hereto; 3) forego issuing an RFP and make anaward hereunder by utilizing the evaluation criteria and points outlined onpage 7 below; or 4) not proceed with the project at this time.
JAAwill receive Proposals electronically via DemandStar.com until 2:00 PM (localtime) on September 15, 2020.

Proposalsshall be submitted on the forms provided and may be manually, electronically ordigitally signed by the individual authorized to legally bind the company.

Subjectto JAA's discretion to waive minor irregularities, Proposals received after theopening date and time will be rejected.
