REQUEST FOR INTEREST – Pilot PROJECT

DRONE DETECTION PILOT PROJECT

for the

JACKSONVILLE AVIATION AUTHORITY

 

Statements of Interest will be received by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA or the Authority) until the Official Pilot Project Due Date and Time of September 24, 2019, at 2:00 PM (local time) for JAA’s Drone Detection Pilot Project. This opportunity is to determine which drone detection product will be the best fit for the Jacksonville Aviation Authority. 

 

This Request for Interest – Pilot Project (RFI) is for discovery and information gathering of potential business clients that have interest in showcasing their drone detection products to JAA.  Subject to the responses received from this RFI, JAA may elect to: 1) negotiate directly if only one response is received or only one Respondent is deemed qualified; 2) issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) from all qualified and interested parties, which may or may not be exclusive to those responding hereto; 3) forego issuing an RFP and make one or multiple awards hereunder by utilizing the evaluation criteria and points outlined on pages 9-11 below; or 4) not proceed with the project at this time.

 

A pre-submission conference will be held September 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM (local time) at JAA Administration Building, 2nd Floor Training Room, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, FL  32218, after which time all questions must be submitted in writing and addressed to the JAA Procurement Department, Attn:  Samantha Smid, and may be transmitted via e-mail to samantha.smid@flyjacksonville.com on or before September 13, 2019 at 5:00 PM (local time).

All Statements of Interest shall be submitted in strict accordance with RFI No. 19-35-24001, which may be obtained after 8:30 AM (local time) on August 29, 2019 from www.flyjacksonville.com, click on bid opportunities.
