This project includes the demolition and reconstructionof approximately 4,500 LF of PCC pavement for Taxiway A, Taxiway A4, andTaxiway A5. Additionally, it includes the construction of a structural slabwith pilings over an existing box culvert. It also includes new taxiway edgelights, conduits, and relocated airfield signs.
There will be a Pre-Bid Conference held at Cecil Airport13365 Simpson Way, Jacksonville, FL 32221 at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19th, 2026. There will be a site visit immediately following the meeting.
Bid security/guarantee in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Contract Bonding shall also be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. The Authority has determined that eight percent(8%) SBE participation goal will be prescribed for this project. As a good corporate citizen, JAA fully supports the usage of SBE on JAA projects. We encourage our business partners to maximize the utilization of SBEs at every opportunity.
This project will be bid as a single contract. Bid prices may be held for up to 90 days. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Project Manual for Contract No. C-893 which may be examined in the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building Office, or obtained from:
