This project includes: The construction operations intended for this project at the Jacksonville International Airport(JIA) includes wetlands mucking, grading, drainage, fence removal and replacement, and access road installation within the approach end of Runway 26to maintain proper drainage at JIA.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference held in the JAA Training Room of the Administrative Offices, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218 at 2:00 PM on February 7, 2023.  There will be a site visit immediately following the meeting. 

Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.  Contract Bonding shall also be required.  The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding.  The Authority has determined that Seven percent(7%) DBE participation goal will be prescribed for this project. Asa good corporate citizen, JAA fully supports the usage of DBE on JAA projects. We encourage our business partners to maximize the utilization of DBEs at every opportunity.

This project will be bid as a single contract. Bid prices may be held for up to 90 days. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Project Manual for Contract No. C-865 which may be examined in the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building Office, or obtained from:
