JACKSONVILLE EXECUTIVE AT CRAIG AIRPORT

                                                                                   

Sealed bids will be received by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218 until 1:00 PM local time, May 31, 2012, at which time they shall be opened in the JAA 2^nd Floor Conference Room, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218, for:

 

STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS

                                                                             

This project includes the removal and replacements of street lighting fixtures along with the replacement of direct buried circuits with a conduit and handhole system.  

 

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference held in the Conference Room of the Jacksonville Executive at Craig Airport Administrative Offices, Building 1, 855-1 St. Johns Bluff Road, Jacksonville, Florida  32225, at 2:00 PM on May 16, 2012.

 

Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.  Contract Bonding shall also be required.  The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding.  The Authority has determined that NO DBE participation goal will be prescribed for this project. As a good corporate citizen JAA fully supports the usage of SBE/DBE on JAA projects.  We encourage our business partners to maximize the utilization of SBE/DBEs at every opportunity.

 

This project will be bid as a single contract.  Bid prices may be held for up to 120 days. All bids must be submitted in accordance with Project Manual for Contract No. C-775 which may be examined in the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building Office, or obtained from:

It is the sole responsibility of each prospective bidder to assure that the Office of the Manager, Engineering & Construction, is kept informed of his or her current mailing address, telephone number and fax number.

 

Complete sets of drawings and specifications on CD may be acquired from JACOBS at the above address or may be shipped to the Contractors at cost for mailing or overnight shipping, after 3:00 pm, May 1, 2012.  Partial sets of drawings and specifications will not be issued.  The shipping cost for the contract documents is not refundable.
