ART PROGRAM COORDINATOR
for the
JACKSONVILLE AVIATION AUTHORITY
In response to recent directives regarding COVID-19 – also known as Coronavirus – and its unforeseen impact upon the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) and its traveling public, JAA has instituted an electronic solicitation option which, as described herein, will be used for this RFQ.
Statements of Qualifications will be received by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA or the Authority) until Friday, June 12,2020 at 2:00 PM (local time) for ART PROGRAM COORDINATOR. The Art Program Coordinator is responsible for the management and development of the Jacksonville International Airport’s Art and Culture Program, which includes rotating permanent art.
This RFQ is a preparation document and shall not be considered or construed as a solicitation nor an obligation on the part of JAA to enter into an independent contract. The Authority will utilize the results of this RFQ in identifying candidates and, if applicable, make a selection.
Subject to the response received from this RFQ, JAA may elect to: 1) interview a limited number of candidates or negotiate directly if only one response is received and deemed qualified; 2) forego issuing an RFP and make an award hereunder by utilizing a review and interview process on the submission requirements; or 3) not proceed with filling the independent contractor position at this time.
JAA will receive Statements of Qualifications electronically via DemandStar until 2:00 PM (local time) on Friday, June 12, 2020.

All Statement of Qualifications shall be submitted in strict accordance with RFQ No. 20-07-11105, which may be obtained on June 2, 2020 from www.flyjacksonville.com, click on bid opportunities. Subject toJAA's discretion to waive minor irregularities, Responses received after the opening date and time will be rejected.
