Statements of Interest will bereceived by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA or the Authority) until theOfficial Solicitation Due Date and Time of Thursday, May 2, 2019, at 2:00 PM(local time) for a Holiday Dinner Venue. The Jacksonville Aviation Authority will host a Holiday Dinner andCocktail (“Event”) at the awarded venue location. The Event requires diningroom/banquet space, catering and entertainment accommodations for approximately200-250 people, the minimum requirements for which are contained herein. JAA would like to request letters of interestfrom venues that meets the scope of services.
This RFI is for information gatheringof potential venue locations that have an interest in hosting this event. TheAuthority will utilize the results of this RFI in identifying venue candidatesand if applicable, make a selection.
Subject to the response received fromthis RFI, JAA may elect to: 1) negotiate directly if only one response isreceived or only one Respondent is deemed qualified; 2) issue a Request forProposals (RFP) from all qualified and interested parties, which may or may notbe exclusive to those responding hereto; 3) forego issuing an RFP and make anaward hereunder by utilizing the outlined evaluation criteria and points ofthis RFI; or 4) not proceed with the project at this time.
All Statements of Interest shall besubmitted in strict accordance with RFI No. 19-31-26101, which may be obtained onApril 18, 2019 from www.flyjacksonville.com, by clicking on bid opportunities.
JAA, in accordance with theprovisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C.?? 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all those who maypotentially respond to this solicitation that any contract resulting from thisadvertisement will be awarded fairly. Disadvantaged business enterpriseswill be afforded a full and fair opportunity to submit a response to thissolicitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race,color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
